Lauren's Top Ten Performances in Movies
1. The Merovingian in the Matix Revolutions and Reloaded. (I can't get enough of that guy for some reason! I simply love him.)
2. Leonardo DiCaprio in What's Eating Gilbert Grape (Anyone who thinks he can't act hasn't seen this. Increased my respect for the guy tenfold)
3. Jodie Foster in Contact. (Great movie and great book)
4. Donald O'Connor in Singin' in the Rain. (Crafted one of the most memorable dance sequences in movie history)
5. Tim Curry in The Rocky Horror Picture Show (No need to describe the appeal here. Simply genious)
6. Audrey Tatou (I think that's how you spell it) in Amelie. (So quirky and fun)
7. And how could I forget Johnny Depp in Edward Scissorhands (Even in monster getup he makes himself pitiable, loveable, and strangely attractive)
8. Ziyi Zhang in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. (To fully appreciate this performance you have to watch it with subtitles, not any of that dubbed crap)
9. Renee Zellweger in Chicago (When I first saw the movie I admired Catherine Zeta-Jones better, but after watching a couple times I switched)
10. Haley Joel Osmont in the Sixth Sense (Just the fact that someone so young could pull it off so beautifully just amazes me)
